Episode 064: Kenny Rausch – NCAA Champion and Manager of Youth Hockey For USA Hockey

Today’s guest began playing the game of hockey at an early age, Episode 064playing on home-made ponds. He developed a strong love for the game. He took his hockey endeavors to Boston where he made the Boston University hockey team as a walk-on. Each year the team continued a little further into the postseason until his senior year when they won the NCAA championship.

He went on to do some work behind the bench in NCAA hockey with Boston U, Niagara University and UMass–Lowell. He has been the manager of youth hockey for USA hockey since 2009. He coached at numerous USA Hockey Boys’ Select Player Development Camps, and was an assistant coach for the U.S. Under-18 Select Team at the 2004 and 2005 Junior World Cups (Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament).
