Today’s guest was raised in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, which is where he developed his love for the game of hockey. Grant has many fond memories of playing on the outdoor rinks of Yorkton as a young boy, including a story about how they used to mark centre ice.
He developed a determined and tenacious playing style that led Grant to play hockey with “An edge.” He would play junior hockey for the hometown Yorkton Terriers. He also went on to play hockey in Prince Edward Island before making his jump to a new league known as the East Coast Hockey League.
Grant also takes time to share the life lessons that the game of hockey has time.
