At a towering five and a half feet tall, you might find it difficult to think that today’s guest was a force to be reckoned with. Born and raised in Foam Lake, Saskatchewan, he made his way to the Flin Flon Bombers of the Western Canadian Hockey League.
During his two seasons with the Bombers he made a name for himself which got the attention of Detroit Red Wing’s scouts which led him to be drafted 118 overall by the Red Wings in the 1973 NHL Amateur Draft.
His tenacity and his dogged determination made him a valuable player on the Detroit Red Wings.
