Today’s guest on The Heart Of The Rink Hockey Show hales from Episode 025scenic Nelson, British Columbia. He started his hockey career playing for the local team the Nelson Maple Leafs.

He went on to play over 180 games in the NHL (mostly with the Oakland Seals) and more than 200 WHA games. His most memorable coach was Bert Olmstead which he shares some great stories about in today’s episode.

When he completed his professional career he wound up playing senior hockey back in Nelson – again with the Nelson Maple Leafs.

He has some wonderful stories and life lessons to share with us.  Today’s guest on The Heart Of The Rink Hockey Show is Mr Mike Laughton.
