Today’s guest on The Heart Of The Rink Hockey Show grew up in North Battleford, Saskatchewan. Our guest learned the importance of responsibility at an early age when his father died. His love of the game took him from North Battleford to Moose Jaw where he played for the Moose Jaw Canucks, an affiliate team for the Chicago Black Hawks.
He went on to play for the Black Hawks where he had numerous encounters with gangsters.
He shares numerous hockey stories including the great riot in the 1947 Memorial Cup. Today’s guest is Mr Emile Francis.
